How do I get started with Catalytix?

Before you start using Catalytix, you will need to decide how you wish to deploy/collect data to and from your users. Catalytix provides the ability to deploy and collect assesment data to a number of client devices. Clients are available for Win9x/WinNT desktop and laptop PCs and PocketPC 2000/2002 palmtop computers. A zero-footprint HTML based web client is also available. The hardware and software requirements for the various clients are listed below.

You will also need to identify where you want the assessment data to be read from and written to. Catalytix includes a server component for WinNT that can read/write data from any OLEDB/ODBC compliant database including Oracle and SQL Server based systems. If you already have an assessment tool in place or if you have a system to which you would like to add assessment data, it is likely that you will be able use Catalytix directly with your existing database.
