The Filter Screens

When a View name is tapped on the Views screen the next screen presented is the Filters screen. This is the opportunity to choose the position in the filter Dimensions of OLAP type Views. The screen shown below is the result of tapping the View OLAP Script. The filter combo box has been opened to show that both Product and Time are Filters. This was determined when the OLAP View was designed in the PocketAnalytix Administrator.

Selecting Product opens the tree view. The member can be selected by a tap. Note that at this point the message at the top of the screen has not been removed as the Time Filter has not been set. Also note that although Fresh, Frozen and Provisions are Parent items they do not have + signs as drill down below this was not specified when the Script was designed.

By reopening the Filter combo box and choosing Time the Available Members box shows the hierarchy of the Time Dimension. Note that the icons for All Time, April, May etc. are greyed out as they are not available off line. The only three members chosen when designing the Script were January, February and March. Tapping on January and then Set selects the filter.

To open a SQL View follow the same procedure as opening an OLAP View, tap the name of the View to be opened on the Views screen, in this case SQL Script. Again the next screen displayed is the Filters screen. ProductClass was the only filter defined when the View was designed in PocketAnalytix Administrator.

When the Product Class Filter is selected the Available Members box is a list of field members rather than the tree view in an OLAP View.

Highlight a member and tap Set to choose the member then tap OK in the top right of the screen. Note that the Deli icon is greyed out, this was made unavailable off line when the Script was defined.
