The Grid Screens

Displayed below is the Data Grid for the View OLAP Script. The values of the filters are displayed at the top of the grid and the relevant data is displayed. As this view has been sourced from an OLAP database and the rows were expanded two levels when the Script was designed in the PocketAnalytix Administrator then drill down into the rows is possible. An asterisk indicates Rows that can be drilled. Tapping a row header with an asterisk expands the data, tapping the row header again collapses the data. The example shows all four starting position rows opened one level.

Columns can be resized by 'Tap and Hold' on the right border (within the header area), drag left to decrease or right to increase it's size. To change position in a Filter Dimension tap Records at the bottom of the screen and choose Filter…

Copying the Data Grid to Pocket Excel The entire contents of the Data Grid can be copied and pasted into Pocket Excel. To copy the Grid Tap File at the bottom of the screen and choose Copy

Start Pocket Excel. Tap New to open a new Spreadsheet. Tap Edit and choose Paste.

To add additional value to the data colour coded condition exceptions can be applied to the Data Grid either globally or for an individual column. Exception criteria can be set by tapping Tools at the bottom of the Grid screen and choosing Options… The screen shown below allows the criteria to be set.

The column can either be set to or the combo box will list the columns available. The Type can be Between, Equal To, Greater Than or Less Than. Depending on the condition type chosen either one or two Arguments boxes are shown.

Note that if a single column exception is defined then the entire row is highlighted for easier identification.
